We have exciting news for Blue Jeans Network!

There have been updates as of June 06, 2022. This update brings about the following changes with links to relevant resources:

• BlueJeans Meeting Highlights improves productivity before, during, and after your meeting. In-app intelligence allows you to capture the most important discussion points, assign action items, and catch up quickly with time-saving highlight reels.

• Share meeting highlights in slack

Virtual Backgrounds:

• Make the right impression by replacing your video background with an image. You can either choose from our collection of free images or add your own.

Lock Screen Share:

• Enable moderators to prevent participants from sharing content or allow single users to share their screen without the risk of losing control during the session. Controls are located in the settings panel and in mini menu on the screen share button in the top center.

Custom Live Streaming:

• Stream your meeting to your preferred platforms with custom live streaming! Streams can be enabled via the Live Streaming option in the apps panel and can be sent to any RTMP enabled platform.

Auto Camera Framing:

• Users can now always stay in frame with Auto Camera Framing, allowing for the camera to follow your position to ensure you're in view. This feature can be enabled via the option above camera device selection on the settings tab.

Collab Board:

• Access the newly redesigned Collab Board, allowing for multiple users to interact in a meeting, with boards stored for easy access later! Boards now support new shapes, image uploads, post its, and varied levels of permissions. To access the Collab Board, go to the apps panel and select "Collab Board", then create a new board or access saved ones. The default setting for users joining your boards can be changed in the preferences menu.

Waiting Room:

• Waiting Room allows moderators to better control who can join their meetings and when. Moderators have the flexibility to enable waiting room capability by clicking on the button conveniently located at the top left corner of the screen.

Open Breakout Sessions:

• Open Breakout Sessions now give meeting participants the opportunity to join a session of their choice. As a moderator, navigate to apps tray and click start under ‘Breakout Sessions’

Captioning and Transcription:

• Meeting attendees now have multiple ways to track the conversation during a meeting. When a user checks ‘Closed Captions’ in Settings, meeting dialogue will automatically appear at the bottom of the screen. Real-time transcripts are generated during recordings and can be viewed alongside Meeting Highlights. Transcripts are preserved in the Meetings Hub for future discoverability.
