New RFC's added to our apps!

We have some great new features this month, including the implementation of some new RFC’s! Check out our applications and submit any issues you find on BugCrowd. Oh… and keep an eye on the news for some awesome additions to our bug bounty in the coming months!

[RELEASE] ExpressVPN for iOS 11.52.0.

  • Do you know that our apps come with a multilingual interface? Seventeen languages, to be precise. We've added an India (via Singapore) server location to our list and translated this new addition to all languages.
  • We’ve also improved localizations for VPN locations
  • We fixed a problem that may have kept you from signing back into the app, if you had signed out. Instead of being invited to re-enter your username and password, you would have been shown a different screen, with no way to sign back in. We have restored the missing screen.
  • Added link local (RFC 3927) and multicast local (RFC 5771) IP ranges for when "allow LAN access" is enabled.

[RELEASE] ExpressVPN for Android 10.42.0

  • We trimmed the hedges and pruned the begonias, and now all is right again in your ExpressVPN garden.
  • For Android 5.0 and earlier, all multicast IP ranges will be enabled when "allow LAN access" is enabled.
  • Added link local (RFC 3927) and multicast local (RFC 5771) IP ranges for when "allow LAN access" is enabled.

[RELEASE] ExpressVPN for Linux 3.26.1.0

  • We’ve done a few nips and tucks to keep our app in top form for you.
  • Fixed CLI bug to only print user preference on one line.
  • Updated the output formatting on Linux CLI for setting user preferences to be consistent.

[RELEASE] ExpressVPN for Windows 12.26.0.68

  • We’ve done a few nips and tucks to keep our app in top form for you.
  • Updated diagnostics to indicate if client disconnect was due to server shutdown.
  • The app will now:
  • Connect to the last connected server location instead of our recommended Smart Location.
  • Auto-connect to the last connected server location.

[RELEASE] ExpressVPN for Mac 11.2.0

  • The app now detects macOS 11 and macOS 12 correctly AND prints it correctly to the Diagnostic Information UI. We attempted to fix this in a previous release but was unsuccessful, sorry!
  • Last fully supported release for OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) and macOS 10.12(Sierra). Starting from May 24, the app version for Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) or macOS 10.12 (Sierra) will not receive updates for any new features, although it will continue to receive major security updates.
  • The app now detects macOS 11 and macOS 12 correctly.
  • Improved localizations for VPN locations
  • Polished off a couple of rough edges to keep your VPN experience as smooth as possible.

We’re always happy to hear about any security issues in our applications, so, as always, happy hunting!
